Even when she reached those awkward teen years, Virginia had more chutzpa than Shirley, who seemed earnestly stilted and boring.

Ginny had gumption to spare in her cinema adventures … She wasn’t a ‘fraidy-cat girly girl!

She held her own with the BIG stars in The Women, 1939, and The Philadelphia Story, 1940 … I appreciate her just as much in the smaller films …
