November 27, 2014 — Just realized … Lassie (with Tommy Rettig) and The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin both debuted on tv in 1954 … (“Won” this issue of TV Guide, July 2-8, 1955, over 12 years ago on eBay … when I thought I could amass a complete collection of everything Ramon Novarro … THAT idea was put to rest VERY quickly, thank goodness!)
Hooray! … Just learned how to download videos from YouTube to my computer … My first … Rin Tin Tin and the Apache Chief, 1954, s1, ep7 … What a relief … YouTube has the original music! … I was so excited last year … Rin Tin Tin is on AntennaTV’s weekend schedule … Then instantly crushed …The music had been replaced by a HORRIBLE electronic synthesizer … AND voices were DUBBED in spots … NOOO!!! …
The trick … In the address bar above the video, type “ss” after http://www. … www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=pluwaAicBJQ … hit Enter … takes you to savefrom.net with download options for that video … Easy peasy!!
